security product and infrastructure development responsible for protecting
the annual management of over $20 B in postal funds. His organization
effectively removed security concerns from the critical path of new product
development projects while delivering significant cost savings
(multi-million dollar) that resulted in a 50% reduction in
development/support staff. Time to market was improved dramatically as a
result of unprecedented reductions in the time required to achieve new
postal meter approvals. He chaired the Key Management System Steering
Committee and interfaced with International Postal Authorities and product
teams as the Product Security Liaison.
Named on 10 United States patents and several International Patents,
Roger was awarded the 2007 Pitney Bowes Inventor of the Year for a patented
invention that enhanced the profitability of the DM Series™ mailing system,
delivering increased customer value and productivity.
An advocate of continuous learning, Roger holds a BS in Computer
Engineering, an MS in Computer Science, an MS in Management Engineering, and
an MBA.
